Daily routines

From August 2026, the school timings will be as follows:

In the PYP (Grades 1–6), lessons will end at 15:00 from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, lessons for Grades 1–6 will end at 12:15.

In the MYP, lessons will end at 15:30 from Monday to Thursday, with lessons finishing at 12:20 on Fridays.

The school opens its doors at 07:30 each morning. At this time, the first children begin to arrive. Students arriving early are supervised in one room by at least one support teacher.

PYP

At 08:00, all PYP students line up before going outside for 45 minutes of fresh air. At this time, all children are outside rather than inside the building, even if they have just arrived. This ensures we know where all students are in the event of a fire evacuation.

At 08:45, the children line up in their class groups and are brought back inside.

They hang up their belongings and change into their indoor shoes, which are especially important during the winter months and in the event of a fire evacuation.

Students then have one lesson before their morning break. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes.

At 09:40, students line up to go outside. They do not enter the playground until staff supervision is in place. This is a simple safety precaution. They then have a 20-minute outdoor break.

At 10:00, students line up again and return to their classrooms.

They have their second lesson. At 10:45, all students have a 10-minute snack break inside. They then have their third and fourth lessons until 12:15.

At 12:15, Grades 1–3 have their outdoor break while Grades 4–6 remain inside for lunch.

At 12:45, Grades 1–3 have their lunch indoors while Grades 4–6 have their outdoor break.

At 13:15, the next lesson begins. Students have two afternoon lessons, finishing at 14:45. They then have a 15-minute end-of-day homeroom session with their homeroom teacher.

Lessons finish at 15:00 (with a different finish time on Fridays), after which students are dismissed.

Students in Grades 1–6 are dismissed and collected from the school playground.

MYP

MYP students remain in their classrooms upon arrival at school and are supervised by support teachers.

At 08:50, all students should be ready in their classrooms for homeroom and registration.

Students then have two lessons before their morning break. Morning lessons last 50 minutes each.

At 10:40, students line up to go outside. They do not enter the playground until staff supervision is in place. This is a simple safety precaution. They then have a 20-minute outdoor break.

At 11:00, students line up again and return to their classrooms.

They then have their third and fourth lessons until 12:40.

At 12:40, students have lunch in their homeroom classrooms (except on Fridays, when lessons finish at 12:20).

At 13:10, students line up and go outside for approximately 30 minutes of break time.

At 13:40, the next lesson begins. The two afternoon lessons last 50 minutes each. The final lesson finishes at 15:20, followed by a 10-minute end-of-day homeroom session with their homeroom teacher.

Lessons finish at 15:30 (with a different finish time on Fridays), after which students are dismissed.

After-school clubs

A variety of after-school clubs run on selected days, such as Chess Club, Karate and, where available, Indian dance. The clubs offered will be confirmed at the start of each school year. All clubs are organised by external agencies and sign up is through the club organisers directly.

SFO

SFO (after-school care) operates Monday - Thursday until 17:00, and Friday until 16:30, unless otherwise specified. SFO is currently available to all students.

We kindly ask parents to collect their children before 17:00, as it has already been a long day for them.

Pick-up and drop-off

Our aim is for children to arrive at and leave school in a safe and orderly manner. For this reason, children should enter and leave the school through the playground entrance (the PYP entrance).

On certain occasions, the main entrance may be used, for example if a child arrives after 09:00 or there is another valid reason to do so.
